FWD Cars for AC?
Hi Kunos guys, I'd like to drive a FWD car in AC, because I've a fwd powerful enough (300hp) and I'd like to pratice with this traction type, like Ford Focus ST, Renault Megane RS, Opel Astra OPC, etc. In the game all cars are rear-wheel drive or Xdrive!
I think may be interesting to many other.
Thx

More variety is better than having 20 very similar GT with different brands.

The Fiat 500 Abarth? I drive a Focus ST, what a boring car to have in a racing game, personally I'd rather a few more interesting Ferrari models!

The FXO turbo in LFS was very fun to drive with a very different behavior that the RWD. No point adding the same car over and over.

I'd love some more variation, getting tired of all these similar cars.

While I'd also like more cars, I don't feel that any of the cars are really similar to each other. They all drive quite, if not very, differently. Maybe that's just me. :)

OT: I very much prefer RWD, but I certainly won't mind having more FWD as well.

I have to say, this is a very strange comment. The cars in AC are very different from each other. Try pushing the F40 with 90's tyres hard, and then switch to the Abarth and do the same thing. Then pick one of the Beemers. And then another of the Beemers. If they all handle alike to you, either you're driving like you're getting groceries or you're using some really weird setup which you really should take photos of, because it's very unique.

The abarth is the only FWD car in the game and not very representative of the FWD class.
While all cars are different (well almost all of them and taking the abarth aside) , the difference between them is minute compare to the difference between FWD and RWD.

A ~250 bhp FWD car would bring something significantly different to the rosters. A lot more different than any new RWD car.

We also need AWD by the way.

Obviously I'm not comparing the F40 to the Abarth or anything else, i mean the amount of Lotus Cars that are similar.

Yes please, good for variety, showing off the physics model and offering a different challenge. Original mini cooper, VW corrado, a ford fiesta and Suzuki swift would all be FWD cars I would like to see.

All the Lotuses drive different from one another as well. You haven't even driven them all, have you? :)

He's talking about looks. Or something. Definitely not about driving.

I also think they are quite different from each other :) Starting with obvious 2-eleven. But even both Evoras are different animals imo.

I'm not saying that a Honda Integra with a turbo package wouldn't provide more variety, but let's be realistic about their licensing capabilities. In the end all these Lotus cars are fancy drives and the good thing is that they give players an opportunity to do small jumps in terms of performance, while retaining familiar handling feel.

I'd love to see some FWD cars, they'd make for an interesting new challenge. If I had a suggestion, it'd be Renault's Megane RS265 and Mercedes' A-class range. The A45 AMG in particular would be an interesting challenge; Haldex AWD system with an FWD bias, and an extremely powerful engine relative to body size and wheelbase. Reviews have it pegged as a great trackday car, but I'm curious as to just what that much power in a largely FWD car would feel like on a track.

Suzuki Swift? Really?
But seriously, more FWD cars with 200+ hp would be nice. Also a modding team is currently making the original Mini. They already have a nice WIP 3D model.

The Swift wasn't a bad car; I do a fair bit of amateur rally, and we see them pretty frequently in the early modern class. They're pretty competitive, too; decent power-to-weight, wide track, and they seem quite reliable. I don't race in Early Modern, but I have seen them on the road and they seem to hold up well as race cars.

I certainly would never make fun of one, having seen how they handle Victoria's rough B-roads in 40 degree(Celsius) temperatures that even effect my Evo X MR.
