The best thing I found, was to set the Logitech Profiler to Global default (900 Degrees) and set the fine tune at the game level. I tried it other ways and got lost. In some case, I had to turn the wheel fully around (two turns) to hardly get the car moving around a 30 degree turn.
I associate each simulator, I have with the profiler and point to the executable of the game.
If I remember right, the profiler defaults to 200 degrees, but I might be wrong.
It isn't really clear to me, when the profiler feeds data to the game and when it doesn't.
You only need to do one thing only, go to video, view, change virtual wheel to 540 or 450 or whatever (the maximum setting), thats it.
You "want" to set both the Profiler and the in-game settings to 900. This way you'll have 1:1 steering with whatever car you're driving.
Thanks for the replyes
@Ragequit - im now pointing to acs.exe, but didnt help im afraid.
@Kjz6d - you remembered correctly, its standard 200 - tho i am using the global device setting. but thx
@QUF - i tried ticking the "allow game to adjust settings" in windows setting AND in logitech profiler setting, none worked :( wheel still only goes +-90 in AC.
@Jeron - i tried this to, but this has no effect. because it is only pure graphics setting.
So im still stuck after your suggestions but i thank you for that..
Im beginning to think that it is my basic setup in windows. Can any of you guys check your setting for me on a windows 7.
Go to -> Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers -> right-click your G25 and select "game controller setting" -> click properties.
Now my wheel only detects +-90 degrees here. You can hover the mouse over the steering wheel field to see the procentage the wheel is turned..
check this screen on droplr: http://d.pr/i/150mp
plz let me know if your setting detects 900 degrees here, thx!
d . pr/ i/150mp
Now go to controls page - under steering axis and put 900º. Now go to logitech profiler either global profile or specific profile if you have one, and put 900º and "allow game to adjust settings".
Now just make sure logitech software is always open when using the wheel in AC.
Man i really appreciate the effort - i tried this too after your instructions, but it didnt work for me.
Can you check what i asked previously in windows ?
Okay so i have the solution - i uninstalled the 510 gaming software, i removed the G25 from device manager in Windows as well.
I unplugged the G25 restarted my pc. And Next is what solved it, i changed USB port. When you plug in a device in a USB port, your OS remembers that and uses same drivers.
So changing USB port gave G25 a chance to start anew and i also now see a Logitech G25 HID on the property page. Next i installed the 510 x64 gaming software Again - and now I get 900 degrees in Windows and in AC now. man i spent most of the day on this focker. hehe he Who laughs last, right..
Thanks for all your support and i hope peeps can use this info in the future..
