Maybe you won't like the change in feel. Then: well, you have to live with the noise. It is after all a gear-driven wheel. Gears do make noise. Even helical-cut ones.
Cheers, that has stopped the noise. On the downside the wheel now has no resistance when the car is stationary, but it is preferable to sound it was making.
I find it odd that this was not a problem for me prior to the new patch. I also have some conserns about whether there will be some lost ffb effects. (I think the weel feels a looser and lighter now but that might be in my head, i'll have to try it out propery when i get time)
