is it possible to swap out engines or customise the engine and visuals of the car?

want to know if its possible before i purchase it.... because i have been looking for a simulator for pc that is similar to forza. so if i can change rims and engine parts and all that then i will purchase it because that is what i like to do on the simulation games, is customise my car to my comfort lol. please guys please let me know asap because i really wanna buy it if it does have those options... thanx

No, you can't swap engines,change rims etc. You can tweak the car setup but you can't add anything.

Shift 2 with extensive mods is pretty good. Look up the PTMu mod, it changes the physics to be quite a bit more realistic, also look up some tutorials on how to unpack the game, etc. I'm afraid I can't help you there, it's been a long time since I unpacked my copy and I can't remember how.
