Also feel free to make youtube videos/first looks on the car (no proper reviews please as it is still beta). But you MUST link to the acusccmod.weebly.com website in the description of your video (or in the actual vidoe of course).


Current known issues:

The model is equivalent to the 2nd LOD, the first one will be much smoother around the edges, and nicer to look at, so keep that in mind. And there isn't really an interior yet.....

The AI are wonky. If @Aristotelis could give me an explanation of the .ini for the AI via PM that'd be awesome (I'd add it to the physics questions database as well)

There are NO LODs at the moment, so the car will be much more taxing on your PC than any of Kunos'.

All driver errors.....We know them.....

That didn't take long at all. Good textures for a Beta, and the sound is pretty good. If that's our first car mod, I like where this is all going.

I think it looks great I like the detail put into the model work. The sound is great so far and if this is the quality of cars offered by mods then I can't wait for the rest.

The team that released this has plans to release many cars, anyone interested I'd suggest going to the AC forums and reading through the thread.

I'm not defending Kunos, but according to them they never expected the game to be popular outside of Europe. According to them they never expected many American or Asia-Pacific players, and were surprised by the game's initial popularity. That's why we only had European cars in the original version.

Thankfully they've subsequently licenced the Corvette C7 Stingray and Nissan GT-R R35 to the game, officially. They'll arrive later in the year. Hopefully we'll see more Japanese and American cars later on: speaking for myself I'd like to see the Ford GT and the new Honda NSX Turbo, among others.

Now that is great news. Having the ability to make mods for this game will make the life of the game last a long time instead of dying out. Bravo!

Well it's better than that. According to the game's developers, they intend to support the game with content and DLC for around five years. Lifespan is definitely something Assetto Corsa has in spades.

Car is not working in my AC, after selecting the car and map, on load up it just goes back to main menu :(

How are people using this car, it not working in mine, i presume it in right folder assetocorsa/content/cars as it shows in car list and can be viewed yet on loading the track it goes back to main menu?

delete the folder and unzip it again maybe something went wrong, I think you can go to their site for support.
All I had to do was unzip the folder into \steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars

Very glad to hear Kunos licensed the Corvette and GT-R. I'm not a huge fan of the new Corvette, relative to the C5 and C6 - mostly because of the rear end. It just hasn't grown on me yet. So I really hope they have the C5 and/or C6 Corvette, especially the C5/C6-R. I'd love to see a 90's NSX and certainly Lexus LFA and maybe even the 2008 - 2012 Lexus IS-F.

I reinstalled the file but still goes back to main menu on load
