any idea??
Reinstall AC hasnt worked as well as all steps/workarounds by AC Steam support did not till now (still wait for more help by steam support).
Deinstalled all now = game + steam.
Run registry cleaner too.
Currently downloaded steam again as well AC download is running =
we will see if it works ... pfffffffffffffff
Isn't there another solution?
I dont want to download my entire library again...
I reinstalled the game.
If you only have two or so games, this works fine. If you have 100s, you're going to have to uninstall Steam and then reinstall your games, without moving the steamapps around, which might take a lot of time.
Alan
hope it helps.
if you ever did this before 0.20:
"1. Go to your steam games Library
2. Right-click on Assetto Corsa and choose 'Properties'
3. Click on 'Set Launch Options'
4. and put the values in there. eg. -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=3 -high"
then:
go to the same place and REMOVE those values from the command line and it will work. reinstalling won't remove this.
If you delete everything in the steam folder, except for SteamApps and the steam.exe application itself, then run the application, it will automatically re-install. I found, even when I exited Steam, some of the other bits were still running, so I opened up the task manager and closed them from there. Everything is running smoothly now.
