pCars is miles ahead in the looking and contentwise now too, if you dont look at modding of other games.
physicswise it isnt ready, so everythin can change.
I will buy pcars also :)
So only Pcars fanboys can reply lol, Im a fan of AC but will still buy pcars when I can. Still from most reports by others I know pcars has a long way to go physics wise to match up in the most important aspect of a sim for me. Sure pretty graphics are nice but most of thats only good for replays and screenshots. My eyes dont see things in the way some games seem to think they would, so in car driv8ng really doesnt need overblown graphical effects
I will buy pCARS when it is released and continue enjoying both games (along with iRacing and rFactor2!)
: )
There is something to say about graphics though in any type of simulation. Its not just the textures and lighting effects, but its much about the overall track environment and scale that add immersion. Pcars looks excellent in the track environment department. However, if the drive model sucks, then yes, its a wash.
People who are signed into Pcars, that I know, say that it is not a hard core sim, but it is high end simcade (whatever that may be) but it is still beta and can change.
I like AC to a certain extent, but it is not my fav' sim; sort of one of the top 3 for me.
It burst onto the sim scene with early release and has progressed well in certain areas, but it is lacking in lots of areas for sure.
;)
YOU !! I TOLD YOU NOT TO SAY THAT WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DID YOU SAYY THAT
Seems like capitals are the in thing. :)
