Does AC feature rain now? Championships/mixed class?

I saw a very impressive AC mod that showed rain. So does AC feature decent wet weather racing?

I am looking for a decent driving game to replace my PC2 game which Ive played far too much. Just looking at AC as a possibility. I know it doesnt have any sort of career but can you do championships or mixed class races?

The rain is a mod you need to install. It doesn't effect the car physics but is very impressive still. There are versions of tracks available as wet tracks that simulate wet roads.. I highly recommend AC over PC2. The mods are endless.

No, not stock you need SOL, Custom Shaders Patch and lights patch (only available on patreon by x4fab)
You can create your own championship (with or w/o mixed class) in Content Manager, but you can't make races longer then 40 laps

It does affect physics as well through the use of extended physics. To be honest it’s still some distance off from being completed, it’s currently a work in progress.

Yeah I looking into Assetto Corsa but cant be bothered to mess around with mods so went with AMS2 in the end which is improving in leaps and bounds now.
