G29 FFB too strong and clipping on high speed corners.
Hi everyone, recently I've been noticing that all the time I was clipping the ffb on high speed turns, like for example, eau rouge, even though I had it at 50-65%, the same with or without post-processing (I have a LUT file). Then I decided to try another game like F1 2020, and I had to turn it down from 100% to 50% strenght. This is several months after not playing too much, so, I don't know if it's me, or the wheel gained stiffness.

I hope is a matter of software. It's not botheing, but I just wanna know if it's kinda normal or not.

I've already attempted reinstalling logitech software, but the problem is not solved yet. Either way, do you know if g29 still works with LGS? Because I installed it just to give it a try and ffb wasn't even working, so I reinstalled G HUB.

I saw in the guide that there are some parameters on the app, but i see none on the g hub

I don't use G Hub, instead I use LGS 9.02.65 and I haven't changed anything within Logitec software.

Oh strange, in my case force feedback simply doesn't work with LGS, at the same ver. you're pointing.

That's odd, it's never once let me down in the 4yrs I've been using this wheel with that software.

Thats strange, sounds like the drivers are borked and throw maximum force from 50% FFB onward. But! making a LUT should "fix" that, or at least make a noticable change. Unless it's a profile issue that was not active during making of the LUT.

Also just in case, if you "see" clipping (on apps etc) thats down to game settings. If you "feel" the clipping (while it's not maxed on apps), thats down to wheel drivers.

I'll give some more laps because yesterday I found out with the ffb app that the gain was all the time at 100, no matter if in the settings the value was at 50. So I playing with the settings into the app now.

I don't know how does the clipping feels, but I can see the red bar along side the throttle one when I face high speed corners. I think that, when higher is the speed, the higher the ffb gets.

I've reinstalled the drivers already.

There are two gain values in AC, global (the one you set in settings) and per car - which is by default set to 100%. Game multiplies both to get final ffb strength you can see on the bar.

FFB increasing in strength with speed is given too, especially on single seaters. After all it is directly proportional to load on front axle, and that more than doubles at high speed for F1 cars, so ffb will double in strenght too.
