Easiest car to drive
Which one do you think is the easiest car to drive, with a wheel (not even considering to use a gamepad), in Assetto Corsa? I mean good grip, handling, fast braking, etc.

The GT86 and the fwd Fiats and Alfas are pretty easy to drive and they all are decently quick.

BMW M235i Racing is a racing car, fast but very friendly.

I would say the lotus 240R and the KTM X-Bow they are both fun and easy to drive.

the racing cars are easy to drive.
imho? the Ferrari 458 GT2 ...can´t do ANYTHING wrong with it, it is even sturdier in curves than the M235i ...well...if you have basic knowledge about driving that is... Also M3 GT2 is very beginner friendly... can hammer that one into curves like there is no tomorrow...

The BMW M235i is a relatively slow race car, so you might want to try that out and get a feeling for it first, and then switch to faster gt cars ...

road cars might sound like "easy", but actually they aren´t, since they are way more vulnerable to (centrifugal/ cornering) forces than GT cars (or formula cars for that matter)...less speed doesn´t equal better handling...

Yes but roadcars are perfect for learning lines and improve your driving. Gt2/3 cars are so easy you can just mindlesly ramm your pedals to the floor without knowing what you are doing.
For learning purposes I think GT cars are a bad choise.
yea, probably right...but the question was for EASY cars... of course you don´t learn much by going easy :)
In my opinion, there is no "THE" easiest car, but there certainly are cars of every class that will take a huge amount of abuse before punishing you for it.
Immediately, the M235i Racing, the 458 GT2, the KTM X-Bow, the GT86 and the Corvette C7R spring to mind.

In terms of very easy mod cars, there´s the Alpine A110, RS4 Avant, Audi TT Cup Car, BMW 320si WTCC, Ford Sierra Cosworth, MX-5, Porsche Cayman GT4.
And with the right setup, I found that you can tame the Lotus 98T and the Formula Renault 3.5 (mod) so much that they become the easiest of the Formula Cars.
So there you go, for each possible class of car in the game, there is one that is "the easiest".

But then again, you can completely change a car just by playing with its differential and suspension settings, so there is probably still a ton which I didn´t include, that are reasonably easy to drive.

Just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles: What do you guys consider to be the most vicious and undrivable cars? For me, that´s gotta be the Sauber C9, the 2015 F1 cars (mod), the Nissan GT-R GT3 and the Porsche 935 Moby ♥♥♥♥ (mod).

Hardest. Yellow Bird, F40 and 98T.

As strange as it may sound, I've found the easiest and fastest car for me to drive is the Lotus Exos 125. It sticks to the track like glue, has razor sharp steering, and corners well at high speeds.

Some of the modern GT race cars are very stable, but they're dangerous near the limit because their hard suspension, tyres and downforce make the point, where you exceed the limit, hard to foresee. So i don't agree they are easy to drive. But some of the slower road cars, like the GT86, the Abarth 500 or the Mito and Guiletta are relatively safe, even if you exceed their limit. You lose traction very progressively, can catch those cars very easily, so i think they are the easiest to drive cars. Just make sure there are no walls directly beside the road.

*edit*

I almost forgot two very good mod cars: The Honda NSX and the Mazda MX-5. Both also very easy to drive.

Haven't tried the NSX in AC, but I agree. I have Gran Turismo 6 on my PS3 and the NSX is an outstanding car to drive, so I expect AC would be the same.

Oooh, I remember the NSX-R from GT6. You could basically clear every single challenge of up to 600 PP with that car, as well as de-tune it to do the 400 PP challenges. It was magnificent! Next to the Audi R15TDI and Konica Minolta Toyota 89 (forgot the exact model name), I probably logged the most hours with the NSX-R
Past tense, because unfortunately my TV ♥♥♥♥ the bed half a year ago, and I couldn´t be arsed to get a new one. Rip in pepperone PS3 :csgox::csgox:
