Mazda Miata (Mod)
Hello guys,

What is so special about this Mazda Miata that everybody praise it so much? That it is the car with best physics in AC and so on...have you tried it? What were your impressions?

And what exact Miata everybody mean? There is Mazda MX-5, there is PURE Miata - which one is so good?

The Miata mod is fantastic. I think a lot of the hype exists because it is a car that a lot of people have actually raced or at least driven extensively. The Mod is a first generation NA and it is really, really fantastic. If you know the real car and you have Assetto controls set up well then it is a very authentic experience.

For the best mods just go to the official Assetto Corsa forums and get them from there or well rated ones from Racedepartment (normally the best ones are found on both websites).

If you stick with AC forums only, not only will you not be `scammed` into buying crap, stolen/ripped mods, but you can be asured of the quality of most of them.

Yes, the mod is a very quality one (PURE Miata). I have already tried it, but the car is more like a leisure car for relaxing driving rather than for racing.

But it is a really well made mod.

When you have a grid full of Miata there can be fun and even racing even if it is not a "thoroughbred" race car.

By the way, check the car.ini of Mazda Miata.

In HEADER-section it should have VERSION=1 instead of VERSION=PMM-V105

Changing that will tell AC what parameters there are and so on and AC can use them properly.
This is a bug in the Miata release that Stefano talked about in one stream.
