cant turn wipers off

i've keybinded them but all it does is slow them down and then they speed back up again, driving me insane help!!

there are 3? speed settings (stopped, slow and fast i think), but you gotta wait and let the wipers settle. If you click through each speed too quickly they won't have chance to stop.

Thanks but I've tried them all, 'stopped' temporarily slows it down
And the other 2 do what they say but no matter what don't turn off lol

If you use Sol then in Sol Plan Selector there is a checkbox for wiper control, check that's not on auto.

I am having issues with Wipers as well (using Sol) .
Basically when speed selected, they wipe once and then stop.
When set to AUTO they come ion very occasionally.
Any clues on that one?

In Sol you have the weather settings and the wiper control at the top. You can select:

-2 external control
-1 automatic
0 manual control
1 manual control
2 manual control
3 manual control
4 manual control

So maybe you have not set it to -2 external?

Okay I just tested the keyboard commands ALT+Num2 Wipers on, repressing ALT+Num2 increases the speed of the wipers. Alt+Num0 slows them down until the stop.

The SOL wiper settings are overrided/ overridden? by the manual keys.

The Automatic setting is linked to the actual rain in game. try heavy rain and see if the wipers go to full speed

in the end i went into assetto corsa folder and searched for wiper and deleted anything related to it
