You can try load preset config on the left the profile is for a t500 but the same as the t300.
Upon doing a lot more digging, I found that people have been experiencing these issues for a while now so it's not a unique problem. I even found an unboxing from 2020 showing the wheel being DOA. The throttle and brake register as buttons, not axes, the clutch doesn't register at all, and the control panel doesn't exist and isn't installed with the drivers.
Maybe someone who speaks French can talk to Thrustmaster because it's very clear that support is going through a translator.
Would like to get a Fanatec wheel but they're evidently permanently out of stock so I ordered a Logtiech G923. Here's hoping Logitech is as solid as I've come to expect.
If the wheel is on ps3 mode.
Saw there is a video on YT for the same thing with a t80 maybe worth a look before rma.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1zWEgJmcnw
Worth noting that when I updated the firmware (which took several tries), the wheel's auto-calibration broke, and it wouldn't stop trying to turn left. I couldn't physically pull the wheel to the right, and I could hear the motors struggling to keep going left. That may be what TM meant when they said not to update the firmware... which doesn't make any sense because that's what their website tells you to do.
Regarding that video: That control panel is what I see as well, but according to support, that's the Windows default panel and you're not supposed to see that. If you do, it means your wheel is broken.
That said if the wheel only go one side while calibrating sadly might be a faulty one.
