trust GXT 288 steering wheel problems

Hello guys and girls. I bought a steering wheel for this game. The Trust GXT 288. It should have vibration feedback ( when i bought it i thought thats the FFB thing and it aint i found out ) but in game it doenst work at all. Accroding to the manual the wheel needs to be in x-input mode instead of d-input.

Bye the way, to clarify, im a total NOOB when it comes to steering wheels and get it to work.

To continue, in x-input the wheel is recognised by win7 as a xbox360 controller ( ?? ). It isnt one,so its confusing me. In game its also a xbox360 controller instead of a wheel. BUT i can set the wheel up. So its apparently working as a a wheel. Again, its confusing me.

Before i bought this wheel i bought a cheap one. A Germbird GBSTRRACEFORCE s-wheel.
That one im going to refund because there are to many problerms with it. BUT theres one thing about it trhats ( again ) confusing me. What ? Well. The vibration feedback is working in game ! The GXT doesnt and a cheap one does ?

Am i doing something wrong here ?
I can deal with it if the vibration thing doesnt work. But if its possible somehow to get it to work im all ears. The wheel itself is alot better than that cheap one. And i dont want to refund the GXT also. So, im keeping it.
My question is, is it possible to get the vibbration fb to work ? Are there peoples who also are using this wheel ? Can you help me ?

Nip it in the butt and refund both. the cheapest wheel I would recommend is logitech Dfgt, cheap, decent FFB and reliable... Remember what you pay is what you get!!!

I;m thinking about refunding them both and then get a decent s-wheel, like the DFGT. Dont have the money for it, right now....and i do want to play this game with a wheel. Like right now lol.
Yesterday i was really hoping the GXT 288 will be a decent wheel......it is and on the other hand it aint. lol BUT I learned a lesson. FFB is not vibration feedback....

I just purchased the wheel yesterday and the vibration works fine for me? Its too quick for a simulation game haha.

When buying a wheel don't save on money. Ideally for sim games, not racing, you must look for no less than 900 degrees. Otherwise it will be a bit clunky, especially for ETS and ATS.

Cheaper wheels often show up as controllers/gamepads.
