New phisics with content manager

Guys, i play a lot in default AC. Hear a lot about content manager but aware about changing in phisics. Is this change are strong? Did this changes make game more realistic or arcade?

By the way it's Custom Shaders Patch that changes the game in the way you are referring, not Content Manager, but grab both.

There is a bunch of small tweaks, fixes and additions for force feedback that makes the driving better. But as for car physics afair, its mostly just chassis flex. There is a bunch of bugfixes and other stuff too... but most of the cool physics stuff needs to be enabled/added in the car itself. So only recent mods have it. And only few servers are running it.

But hey, the chassis flex, that is avilable on all cars, is defintely worth trying it out. It changes how most cars work in driving and in setup. Its funny how it fixes some of the kunos cars naturally. Kind of proving that the devs didnt fudge numbers much while making the cars to cover up limitations of the game engine.

bruh, everything is configurable. you can pick and choose what is enabled.
... well except what mods cook ofc. Also the patches are part of CSP , content shader patch, which can be downgraded to any previous version or disabled in CM.

the only reason to not get CM is that it has been done by a friendly russian (and international community). i think a lot of the csp code is avilable on git to view, but the CM i believe is not. it should be fine but who tf knows what their crazy state is cooking.

One more question - is this changing work in career mode???

Career mode as well as special events etc are "paid" feature of CM, for the low cost of "name your price". Im not aware of any limitations for the career.

Nearly all improvements form CSP should work with original kunos launcher, and that would mean it works in career as well... but it was a while since i tried due to going over the mod limit, normal launcher is not working anymore.

Career is the least used part of AC so not sure if we have someone here that knows the answer for sure.

Hmmmm just because Ilja is Russian doesn't mean he's up to something nefarious, and there are a few other people involved in development who have no ties to Russia.

Oh definitely not, afair he wanted to move out of the country, idk if that happened. I just cant say if enough precautions were taken to not unknowingly distribute a CM version with some Z bonus.

Also connecting without VPN might trigger something for OP alone. Such things happened in the past where only citizens of certain countries were targeted when making connection to normally safe site.

Tbh we could talk whatifs for hours. 99% chance CM is/was/will be safe, but IMHO its just better to know upfront, no harm if its nothing, but can raise a red flag if there are already other considerations.
