Weird....Offline race (Nordschleife) Starts from pit lane?

So i havn't played in a fair while, but i tried to do my custom race...which are but have ALWAYS been a lot of cars and yes mainly mods...the race keeps starting from the pit lane?

I mean why?, this as i mentioned above did not do this before is this due to content manager?, CSP (pure) in my case or the game itself? or something else??


Any feedback appreciated guys really do not understand what the blazes is going on here.....also might also be the case at other courses, i only tried Nordschleife,....any ideas?

There are several versions of the track. Some include the GP course and will start in the pit lane but the one you are probably looking for that starts in the parking lot is "Nordschleife - Tourist".

I had a same issue before, but managed to finding out how to fix the issue, couple of months ago. So, I'd like to share the solution.

This is the issue that likely happens on latest preview version of CSP. However, it can be fixed.
Uncheck Fix missing or misplaced spawn points[pbs.twimg.com] option on CSP > General Patch Setting.
This should fix the issue you have.

Honestly, this option is a total mess and should be avoided. This option even breaks track mods that works properly (Such Seaside Route 765 by REDZOEU/Takashimari.)

guess i got lucky, thx (a small life-safer) ......my guess is it resets, and is off by default?,,,i also have a missing texture for some reason at this track (misc.add.dds.) miscellaneous additional.dds? and it's still missing after doing an integrity check, but the cars are all back on the grid now phew!.... jeje

I believe the option is ON by default, as this issue happened to me without tweaking (almost) anything but installed latest preview version of CSP.

As for misc.dds, I have same error as well. Also seen couple of posts on GTPlanet modding thread about misc.dds too, but no solution was given.

It happens on Nordschleife, I believe?
I personally think this is a bug for latest preview version of CSP.
However, as far as my modding knowledge goes, this misc.dds error can be completely ignored, since they're trying to load some texture that has no purpose (or not used) on Nordschleife.
