F1 are fast, but they are not furious. SMOOTH is the word !
If you break the balance of your car, be it with throttle, brake or steering, you'll loose speed, or further, you'll loose control. And this works even with a Beettle.
It is always very easy to go fast : just push the throttle !
But if you want to be really fast on a track, you've got to have car exactly where you want it, at the exact speed it can go. Summing up : the trajectory is more important than the braking point, if you want the best corner speed
