Make sure you are plugging the ultrawide inside the GPU and not anywhere else.
Make sure your desktop settings are set correctly and in your control panel you have correct setup.
Make sure you update your drivers.
I think you are also having a major bottleneck in your CPU, not a fan of your setup.
Window settings set to correct resolution and refresh rate, drivers are up to date, if the werent up to date enough for a 13 year old game, i would be having way more problems then just this....
Also, my cpu is not a "major bottleneck" for AC, or anything else i do or play....especially at these resolutions....imagine thinking ANYTHING ryzen would be a bottle neck on 2013 assetto corsa...🙄 Yet still run everything else fine.
It kind of sounds like you are just regurgitating things you have heard before and dont really know what your talking about, just to try your end goal of bashing my system at the end.
But thanks anyway i guess.
I've also seen a case where CM itself was causing that when it was preloaded to be shown while driving. Afaik this is fixed now, but yeah just to show the scope of what could be wrong... a fok ton, so keep chipping at it! gl!
Ill try running in borderless and if no luck try a clean reinstall of csp and pure. See what happens.
Im gonna try running in borderless to see if that helps as a previous poster said, and if not then yeah, i think im gonna try a clean full reinstall of pure as well. However now that you mention that past issue with CM, one weird thing i DID notice was on the 2nd or 3rd try, when i tried launching CM, it was super laggy and pegged my cpu useage at 100%.
Never seen that before. I had to close through task manager to kill it. It did it twice i think and launched normal after that. I have auto updates on, maybe it updated versions and something is wrong with a new version?

but if not... CM is integral part of the game now, if something lags it, there is good change it will also lag the game. So could be antivirus or or rendering of CM window being broken etc.
Just for clarity of testing, when you install CM with CSP, the kunos launcher will load up CSP as well, even with CM not running. So if you ever want to compare vanilla to modded, you gotta rename dwrite.dll (in games directory) so the mod wont start.
Oh and Johnny has a good point above, FTH was plaguing AC for a while.
Ive honestly used CM so long at this point i dont remember when the last tine i actually booted through steam was lol. Im gonna watch that vid that was posted and see if thats the problem i may be having.
So, benchmark, getting about the same. Some digging later, i find out that everyone says turn off extrafx in CM. That apparently its meant only for screenshots and is basically like a "reshade ray tracing". That turning it off was doubling peoples fps. So i go and click it off, run the benchmark again and 90-100+ fps.
Still gotta test it back on the ultrawide to be sure but seems like thats what was killing my framerate. Or at least a big part of it. Guess when i was running in 1080p i was just brute forcing it and got a solid 60, and maybe its disabled when in vr? Its still kinda funny that after all the troubleshooting it just took one click to double my fps.
So...idk 🤷♂️ off seems to put me in the 100 range so later today ill see how it works and go from there. Maybe something is still borked with the install or something.
Disabling it literally doubles my frames. Probably why its disabled by default.
My spare rig is a 3440x1440 monitor and its fed by a 5600xt with a 5600X, and it gets great frames, so you shouldnt have any issues with a 6600.
