Try to connect to your server via internet (even if its on the same machine) by typing in the external IP and port) It might help with troubleshoot. But if that works and friends cant join it still might be some ISP shenanigans.
I can join it myself on my public ip and port 8081. I setup a DMZ on my router pointing towards my pc's private IP, still received the same issue.
Server is running via content manager on a windows 11 pro machines with a static internal ip of 192.168.1.109 /24.
Ports forwards have been created on the router for 9600 and 8081 TCP / UDP for 192.168.1.109.
Windows firewall has inbound and outbound rules allowing all connections on these ports, along with allowing acserver.exe.
Server would not run with this setup, so go in touch with isp and they advised I needed a static ip. After static ip was implemented, Server would run, I could join, but my friends received the above error. There was no error logs on the server as my friends could jot join as no server info was loaded.
Turns out my ISP was blocking port 8081 which was my http port.
I had also tried 8080 and 8082 which they are also blocking so I didn't this of that as the issue.
Changed http port to 8500 and all works great.
