Issue setting up content manager server
Hi all, I am trying to host a content manager server so my friends and I can play, but I am having considerable difficulties.

I have done it once before and managed to get it working but not sure what I'm doing wrong with our new router.

I have setup port forwarding on 9600 UDP & TCP and 8081 TCP. Both these have my laptops static IP of 192.168.1.20. But when I launch the server I get the below error.

10:48:24.203: ‽ RESPONSE: ERROR,INVALID SERVER,CHECK YOUR PORT FORWARDING SETTINGS
10:48:24.203: > CONNECTION TO LOBBY FAILED, ATTEMPT NUMBER 1

Content manager has these ports set as default and I have confirmed they haven't changed.

When I run a port check on the above ports it still shows that they are closed, but they should be open. I also have some remote play port forwards for my PS5 and they work fine.

I am running windows 11 pro.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks team.

When hosting any game server make sure you open inbound and outbound ports on the modem, router, and host PC firewall then restart all devices when complete. In some cases the ISP itself can be an issue. It is not the same as "Open NAT" on a Xbox or PS.
Have turned off the firewall on my pc, made no difference, same with creating inbound and outbound rules for the ports and service. Can't find any firewall option on my router so I suppose that could he the issue, just odd the ps5 remote play works and this won't 😡😡😡
