Is this a parody of a racing simulator?!
I actually owned a Lotus Elise SC a few years back, so picked this up on sale to see how the sim compared. I've done a lot of trackdays IRL in the Lotus, and other brands since. This is NOTHING like the real car. It's hilarious! Not sure if it's supposed to be realistic, but when it can't even get around a sweeping bend at 40mph without ploughing straight into barriers, it's not exactly how a Lotus behaves on track. Also, it seems to have about 30 turns lock to lock :) I couldn't stop laughing, honestly! Well, it was only £1.50, and it gave me a laugh, so who cares, but I defintely won't be playing it again!

And should we not be able to call people out on their bull?

*sigh*
Since some people are like this, let me rephrase my quote.

<snip>

*Sigh*

OP is going to keep being trolled while they keep replying AND until they realise that game reviews are for the store page; while grievances about a game they no longer own are laughable and should be ignored. Or laughed at.

Also lying to strangers for clout really should be called out. The community is for owners of the game, not for people who refunded due to a skills issue. That's the real reason that he is being trolled. The dude is a liar and lying to randoms on the Internet for clout.

It's not a matter of "get off my lawn" it is more a case of "you didnt like the quality of the grass and told us you weren't coming back becuase of it, so, feel free to leave anytime you like."

What surprises me is that so many still want to carry this on. I'd left after a couple of posts, over a month ago, but kept seeing notifications on Steam and took a look to see people still salty because I didn't praise the game they like. I actually said it was kinda fun because I found it funny, and it was cheap so I wasn't even bothered. But you have the same couple of people still raging, moaning and whining even now. It's a bit weird really (there may be more, I've blocked a few who are obviously just kids and don't know any better). I'm treating it kind of like an experiment now. 🤣

This is going to run and run. Porsche makes great cars, but all the driver aids make them the number one choice of the puddle-jumper. I bet you're great at matching colours as well?
You're just pathetic at this point. Whining that modern cars have driver aids and so "it isn't real driving" is something a kiddie in school playground argument would say. You're essentially saying you believe you're a better driver than professional racing team drivers, because your little Caterham doesn't have power steering or a paddle shift. Maybe you're not a real driver because you don't hand-crank it to start, or manually change the timing advance with a lever like the race cars from the 1920's. Grow up, you look like an idiot. I've customised many cars over the years, with engine and transmission swaps, and built a Dax Rush kit car way back in the 90's by the way, including stripping down and fully rebuilding the Rover V8, the transmission and tuning the car. You just bought a car, so I'm "better" than you I guess, right?

Since you're nothing more than a bot repeating the same line at this point, I'm now muting you. You have absolutely nothing to add to this discussion. Keep playing your 10 year old game, kid, and I'll be driving a real car around the track - bye! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (I bet this kid still replies even though I can't see him anymore - he's THAT insecure and immature 🤣)

Oh no. I hope he didn't really block me. This is the only real fun thread on the forum so I come in here to let my hair down from the serious threads and have a laugh at his expense. Oh well, I guess I got to the little fella. Fun while it lasted.

Genuinely, you need to start showing some video evidence of you driving at least one of your cars or something at this point in the conversation. It's a verify, don't trust, post-truth world we live in and, well, as the phrase goes extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And to be fair, you have made some pretty extraordinary claims all through out this thread.

And if you claim that you don't have any video proof that you are willing to share of at least one video then we will know for certain that all your claims are nothing but the lies we believe them to be.

You claim you have been modding cars, building kits and attending track days since the 1990's and the start of that decade was 35 years ago. Being generous we could say you started in the mid 1990's when the modding scene really took off with Max Power and other similar magazines where people like you shared there set ups. That's 30 years, according to you, if we are generous, that you claim to have been doing this and why you are such an authority on the subject.

So, pony up fella. Prove to us all that you are a driving veteran like you claim! Seriously, I would give you a break and admit you are the authority you claim to be if you can prove it. Let's see this track day Porsche you have. Let's see some proof of you at a track, driving.

We had video cameras in the 1990's.

Lets be honest no racing sim can possibly be like real life and should be enjoyed as such, I would recommend you check and double check your settings get off your high horse and enjoy yourself, failing that find a sim suited to your skills. Mario cart maybe!

It's a bit ironic that someone who can afford a Lotus or a Porsche wastes time whining every day on Steam discussions.

I love it when people blunder into a thread with no actual idea of what's been said, even two pages previously, and yet think their input will be useful to anyone. This one missed the fact I've stated at least twice now that I'm now playing GT on my PS5, will a pretty decent rig, and it's great. Great multiplayer racing great community that doesn't whine and moan 24/7 on here, and admits to "trolling" people who don't agree with them (in this very thread). I also stated I'd completely deleted this game, as the community is so terrible I don''t want to be associated with it anyway. Thanks for proving my point! 😁

I'd left this thread for almost a month - only returned as the "regulars" were moaning and whining and I was continuously getting notifications and wondered why they would still be getting their panties in a bunch about this. I've blocked most of them now anyway, as they have nothing to contribute (and in a couple of cases, they're children who have no experience of real cars, trying to give their ignorant, useless "advice" - like a virgin trying to explain the pros and cons of different sex positions 🤣). But you're right, I'll leave it to the people who can't afford a Porsche to continue replying. You'll see them appear below this message. 🤣
