This will help you find your bottlenecks and adjust your VR settings to get the frame rate you are looking for. Anyone using VR should have this lifesaver of an app!
I use this along side the AC app called Render stats. Once in the car on the track, go to your apps menu on the far right and filter for Render stats. Once open you can make the window bigger via the bottom right corner. Now you will see what graphical element(s) are too high or takes too much frame time. If you are using Pure weather then it is probably the PP filter that you have switched on or on too high setting that you are getting low FPS and possible heavy re-projection, Try with no pure or/ and pp filter as they are heavy FPS hitters
Let us know if and how you fixed your problem
likely this is not the issue as you would of noticed before already, unless you have recently been changing it..? but if not it's very good advice, having dynamic here will eat FPS, and i have very similar card to you, heed advice and make sure the setting is at 1 or 2 faces no more
