Assetto corsa isnt launching when I click play
so I click play on the game and it turns green and says running but 4 seconds later it shuts down without any game window popping up. I tried looking online for how to fix videos but all of them didnt resolve the issue, anyone know how to fix?

First of ALWAYS ALWAYS restart steam, if an issue with a game loading sudenly shows up like do this always, as a matter of practice.

If still not booting, Long shot but i'm just wondering, do you have a lot of tracks installed?
Years ago on another race game i suddenly started having the same issue, it turned out that i had over 255 tracks installed (don't ask lol)) 255 is a significant number in computing languages So anyway as soon as the installed tracks dropped below this number it loaded up as normal..

Yeah I tried Onedrive. CM works but also has issues on its own and I want to be able to play the full game before I spent double the money (on CM) for the same game. If I need to I might try windows 10, but quite oddly I had the same issue on my windows 11 laptop, with the one difference being that CM didn't work. I have not tried my Steam deck but it says incompatible so I am stuck. My specs are quite normal to: Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 4070ti Super, 32gigs DDR5 6000, and only one SSD and it is new. I just don't get what could be the problem.

What resolution is your desktop? If it is higher than 1920x1080 try setting it at that before launching and see if it will launch in 1080p!

Do you have any external storage devices plugged in? If so try launching with them disconnected!

Sorry if these do not help!

Thanks for the suggestion because my main monitor is 4K, but I can't launch it if I set my 1080p monitor to main or if I set the 4K one to 1080p. Still broken );

I was struggling with this issue for a long time and I finally solved it. I know this is late but I would want someone to tell me if they figured it out. Basically, my Windows was not using my GPU to play AC. You have to go to Settings>Display>Graphics, then add the .exe, and then click options and make Windows use "High Performance" which uses your dedicated GPU, instead of just "letting Windows decide". No other fixes worked for me and this was finally got it to launch. Hope this helps.
