Pure weather script

For some reason now when I turn on pure weather instead of default weather my fps goes from 200fps to 15fps. I am using the premier ppfilter and have the latest custom shaders patch. I am suffering a cpu bottleneck since upgrading my gpu but this is crazy.

yeah and to no success.

In these situations when I have no idea what's causing the issue, I do the following

1. double check video settings, make sure nothing is being capped
2. desable all mods
3. verify files in steam
4. uninstall and reinstall CSP and PURE
5. reinstall graphics drivers
6. if all else fails, reinstall AC and install everything from scratch

JC updated his Premier ppfilter some hours ago. Thers is no FPS issue any more.

I installed it and no it didn't fix it.

If improperly installed you can run into performance issues too so make sure you install it step-for-step per the devs instructions?

I feel like it's a weird technical issue too because when I launch it and these issues happen I notice it obviously through msi afterburner and what blows my mind is my gpu is only being utilized 20% while my cpu is 45%.

We all know it should be 99% gpu and 50-65% cpu.

I also was reading comments on Peter boese patreon that similar issues like mine are out there which makes me think it could be a bug.

I do need a cpu upgrade which I am doing soon. Once I rule out the bottleneck being the culprit I'll definitely consider this.

How did you attempt the original (problematic) install?

I did it two ways first was the way Peter boese says by extracting the downloaded files into the AC root folder then running the uninstallsol_installpure exe.

When that didn't work or didn't work as intended I installed it through CM.

I swear I learn more and more about this game every few months.

When I found rolling anti lag real mirrors and adjustable engine maps it blew my mind.

You extract the zip anywhere, not the AC folder. When you run the .bat it will ask for you to point it at the AC directory.

Biggest mistake people make is not testing and backing up as they mod.

How far along is your modded AC so far?

even if you extract the files into the AC root folder you just run the .bat afterwards.

IF you can't trace back what you do then yes back up.

My AC is extensively and I mean extensively modded.
