Is there an open world drive element?

Just bought the G920 and looking for a racing/driving game where I can just drive without forced missions or racing(like the old crusing usa from the late 80s

Thanks. I am currently binging on youtube videos Ill check them out, I decided to get the wheel before deciding on games (aside from the few I own)

Is the Driving Force Shifter worth adding? or doesnt matter?

yes add it if ya can, some cars don't use the paddles you do have a clutch?

Yes the G920 came with a 3 pedal system, one of which is a clutch.

I only have Wreckfest and American Driving Simulator but I have my cart filled with a few games atm, just havent decided on adding the Driving Force Shifter yet.

I am in the process of converting a walk in closet into a racing/space sim

if you get into Asseto Corsa there alot of old cars that use the shifter it's damn cool

yeah Imma wait til forza is on sale, gonna snag this I think. I got this, need for speed most wanted and beamng sitting in my cart atm, checking to see if something else appeals to me

Personally, need for speed on the wheel was not the best experience. Mixing arcade style and physics like NFS does makes the car "wonky" in my opinion. Asseto corsa can be found on g2a for $3 and then you dive into content manger. Forza is an amzing steering wheel open world game you are looking for. Beamng is also a blast you will never regret the purchase.

look into assetto corsa content manager, you can download large tracks, even the whole gta 5 map to drive around and add traffic, extra cars, tuned cars etc, theres a whole community on assetto corsa mods that improve this whole game
