Wheel isnt running in game?

I have my wheel and H shiftier set up in the settings, yet once in game it doesnt work/register. Nothing happens, not sure whats wrong. Using VR too if that has anything to do with it?

Many find success launching via content manager launcher. After installed, go to CM > settings > AC > controls, assign all your controls one by one including your gears, save your control profile in the bottom right, then launch a race. Make sure you tick "use H shifter" in the control settings.

weird, even in that my steering wheel/pedals arent registering. I have a thrustmaster t150 with th8a shifter and pedals. Shifter is being registered, pedals and wheel arent

Try a different USB port. Make sure your TM wheel software and drivers are up to date. And also disable Steam controller input so it doesn't interfere.

Try assign your pedals in CM, and see if they are responding on the right side with the red lines. If so, save your profile and try in game

Check if the game suddenly tries to force other controller in place of your wheel. (disable steam controller input, maybe disable/unplug other controllers etc). Could also check if the wheel works in its drivers settings while its not working on track. If both dont work, as Fret mentions reinstall drivers and possibly change USB port.

So weird, I figured it out. So if my Thrustmaster it set to ps4 it doesnt work on PC. But it still was in PS3 mode as I havent moved the switch since I bought it years ago. I just went to ps4 and back to ps3 to see if it jogged it. After a couple attempts it finally did. Idk maybe its just old so the connection wasnt as good but now everything is working again!
