Quest 3 with Steam Link not going into VR mode
When I go into the game via Steam Link, it doesn't go into VR mode. I'm looking at my desktop screen from far away as if the game doesn't support VR. I'm not sitting in the car as I should be, but looking at a rectangular screen from a distance. I rebooted everything several times. Any solution for this?

Why are you using Steam Link for VR games?

Use Oculus Link/Air Link- then in AC simply change video mode drop-down option to Oculus, then load on to track and the game will start in VR.

AC menus are not in VR, Vr only loads when you start a race.

yup, no need for steam link or steamvr. Just connect to PC wirelessly using oculus app, choose "oculus rift" video render mode in AC and you're good to go, wireless vr racing all day baybee

Oculus air link is about the buggiest software I've ever used in my life. Steam link is much better but apparently not supported for Quest 3 yet, or at least so it appears. I actually tried air link and still have the same issue. Seems to be a Quest 3 compatibility problem. Refunding for now; I'll try back later.

I have refunded. Tried but could not get it to work on Quest 3.

Really? Airlink works with the quest2. Are you sure you've connected it all properly? Any issues with other VR titles or just AC?

Only this game. I haven't had any problems with any other games through steam link. It works very well for everything else. Automobilista2 works flawlessly (but unfortunately doesn't have a career mode yet).

its not a quest 3 issue. go into content manager settings tab on the left make sure its the video tab look to the right. Under the rendering mode tab go from single screen to openvr.

I can get the screen in VR mode using open VR option, but then it won't pick up my controller. Busted.
