For around $350-300 I would recommend the Logitech G29 wheel + pedals + shifter.
Next level up would be direct-drive bundle, something like the Moza R5 which is around $500, but when you throw in the shifter and clutch pedal too it comes to just under $700.
I've been on a G29 for around 2 years and have loved it, great entry wheel. I'm looking at the Moza R5 as my next upgrade. Since we're entering November it might be a good idea to wait until black Friday/xmas sales to get a good deal.
Yeah my budget is about $300-400. Thanks for the info i'll be sure to check it out.

We all gotta start somewhere. If money wasn't an issue, everyone would buy direct drive
Dont even waste money on anything other than a DD wheel. At your budget I would save a little more and go with a MOZA r5 bundle.
I guess DD is really nice for immersion and getting hooked, but if you start with it, expect more purcheses soon. Which is the reason why i'd recommend looking at full packages. The reason G29 is still mentioned in a lot of places is because cost is mostly front loaded, and whole deal fits the purpose. Thrustmaster has deals like that too but needs more diving into whats good. While DDs are still sold as a bait, thou thats slowly changing.
As a G29 owner for the past 2 years, I can attest to this. Great entry wheels, but obviously if one can afford it, direct drive is much better.
