Get Custom Shaders Patch ( paid version from Patreon ).
Get Pure from Peter Boese ( paid from Patreon ).
Enjoy your perfect looking game.
Overall you can pay 3€ and cancle the subscription and enjoy the game.
It does not get cheaper.
For tracks and cars -> RaceDepartment is you place to find some fancy stuff! <3
However PURE is a paid mod, you can buy it for as little as $1. If you don't want to pay for it, the second best combo I found for VR is SOL weather script along with NATURAL MOD filter.
AC is by far the best looking driving game I've ever played in VR. The above combos just make it better.
Can you recommend something similar, that offers nice environment details (for good immersion in VR)?
As I said I am not a racing fan and will not have the wheel for so long, so I am trying to get the best of Assetto corsa compared to the effort needed (not going to spend hours to make mods works if they don't work).
It's not about that. I explicitely asked if custom tracks/maps come already with custom assets and textures etc. Because from the videos not always they list what mods they had installed so I didn't understand for track videos if the tracks are already looking better because they contain better textures and assets (better trees etc) or if those come from separate mods (not even speaking about pure graphic mods that act on lighting etc) but I will keep looking
I like to keep things simple and focus more on the stock cars than mod cars and tracks. I just make my VR experience look better by upping the pixel density a little, upping the sharpness in CSP, and using PURE weather and filter and skybox clouds (free addition for pure which makes clouds look extra realistic and adds around 10fps to the game).
You don't need a lot to make AC look good. CSP + PURE + a good filter of your choice. That's it.
All that advice I gave you
What you don't appreciate rogermorse is that most of us here, are still walking the long journey of trail and error. We watch YouTube videos sometimes 5 x over, visit websites like Racedepartmental, download content and try mods, tracks etc for ourselves. We learn how the game works, how to install mods, how to work with .ini files, traffic files, FFB, Content Manager....... This journey is essential if you want to play with the big boys.
There is no "one set of mods" for everyone. It is a learning process that to get the most of out Assetto Corsa, you must follow. It will lead you down a path of many lost hours, even days, more questions, trials and tribulations including countless possibilities and inevitable mistakes however, in the end, you will have your game running just how you like it plus, you will fully understand not only the mod process but a much better understanding of your game, file system, external apps, your GPU, wheel capabilities and more
You will feel the game incomplete if you do not walk the journey yourself. Taking advise from users is OK but you will always be curious if there is something better that will improve your gaming / visuals.
Based on the the fact that you do not offer your PC specs, you do not own at least a steam version of Assetto Corsa and you have a wheel for a limited time, I recommend you close your (probably) cracked game and return your wheel.
Reading your post, I believe you are not ready for this game my friend. As you stated yourself, you are not willing to put the effort in but you expect others to do it for you.
When a boy maketh the journey, the journey maketh a man
Can I get an AMEN
Wow did somebody get triggered. I have the game on another account because I don't want to affect the statistics of mine (I am an achievement hunter). My second account is a friend on this main account if you want to check (it's probably private because I never use it) and it's called rocketnoob. I do have the specs listed on my profile if you took the half second time it takes to click and check (but instead you took the effort and time and toxicity to write your useless reply). What wheel model is completely irrelevant since one can have fun with a controller as well (graphic mods or not).
The rest of your post is just obvious things already written by others and no, I am really not new to modding games, Skyrim and Fallour are definitely not easy to organize with mods.
Lol cracked version...are you on steam since yesterday? A game key costs 4 euros (same price when it goes on sale), why would I pirate a game that costs nothing?
And here a reply from the second account. Also do you know that you can share libraries between accounts...and you would still not have the mouse icon next to the username (I believe)...and no I didn't share the libraries because achievements are in fact tied to the account that unlocks them (unlike the game, which stays tied to the owner's account).
Boy so few neurons for so much acidity.
Can I get an AMEN
HALLELUJAH!
The interesting point here is, If you spent as much time explaining yourself regarding me reply and instead, used that energy to do some research, you wouldn't have to waste your time on little, old triggered, me LOL
Do not mistake advice for being "Triggered". By your own reaction, the only one here that got triggered is you my friend. Go ahead and enjoy your day, oh and enjoy your wheel whilst you have it.
Triggered....... you're 'aving a laugh mate
Yeah, I know what you mean bro!
