An estimated hot temp would be based on modelling but if your driving styles uses the tyres differently than the expected model (for example by sliding the car which will cause higher temps than expected) then the calculation will be off!

This may have been obvious, but I couldn't find any information detailing this.
If only you said "it shows hot on the panel" or something, i'd remember haha. When we read "hot" here we think looking at tyres app values while driving. (or any other app)
The right side panel is useful for many "live things" but the other stuff is better checked with other apps like noted in 1st reply here.
