Primary objective of most of Assetto Corsa "modders" today is profit, rather than fun, hobby and enjoyment. and those greed is ruining this AC community.
Most notable one is selling mods, which could be illegal (definitely illegal if it was converted model). But also including Ads revenue as OP said.
Even though your context is like this (no offense), I have full empathy on you...
Edit: grammar.
I use Brave browser and I don't see any ad's or pop-up's about using an adblocker. I tested downloads and they all work fine.
IT THINKS I HAVE AD BLOCKER ON WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE IT ON!!!😪😪😪
This is a clear sign that Assetto World is doing this for their profit and doesn't give a F about cars.
If you need an alternative, try Beingy on YouTube. If you want more convenient one without to deal with encrypted ♥♥♥♥ mods, try Garage ACTK. ACTK is also a scum as Assetto World is. But at least they don't block your adblock.
