I personally liked the F1 76 mod in RFactor.
Especially the Renault. Brutal power on 4 wheels.
Whoever drove behind this vehicle had a lot of paint damage.
There are F1 mods from 1930 to 2023 for AC.
If I now suggest an F1 mod to you, the next one comes up and says that the mod is less good than the mod he recommended to you or that it is "illegal" or otherwise unplayable.
Some attach more importance to the 3D models, others attach more importance to the driving physics (what i prefer) and yet others knock out something that only looks like F1 with a lot of alcohol in the blood.
I can report that the vehicles behave differently.
A McLaren or Ferrari is much more aggressive than a Larousse or a Forti.
You'll never win a championship with the latter.
With luck, a Benetton ends up in the points.
But first I recommend you to install the Content Manager along with SOL.
It´s a must have. Some Mods
If you like rain racing in turbo vehicles,
I even recommend the full version of the Content Manager.
Costs depending on what you are willing to pay. No subscription system if you don't explicitly want it. The "rain god" gets one euro a month from me.
Some mods even require this. Both for vehicles and racetracks.
In addition, the DRS Mod for more modern F1 vehicles.
I was never a fan of rain, but now I really enjoy chasing a 1967 cigar over the
Nordschleife in 1967 or Spa in 1966.
To all those starting now AMS2 is better, no IRacing is better, no...
He was clearly asking about F1 mods for Assetto Corsa.
Hope it helps your search a little.
There are also paymods on VRC, Sim Dream Development (but these are modders who have a bad reputation for once selling mod parts from others as their mods).
If that doesn't bother you, it doesn't bother me, you'll find formula cars there from every year.
Driving a 1990 F1 Car on Phoenix91 is very tricky.
Then there are various vehicle sides, mostly converted from Forza with abysmal driving physics.
Various so-called freeroam routes are also absolute rubbish.
Unfortunately, Vice City sucks.
Just like real Monaco, GTA 5 etc.
For racetracks i recommend registering on Racedepartment.
The 1988 circuits are a dream for me old man. Even come from RFactor I think.
Also, if you're interested, the 1967 mod on THRacing.
The GTL vehicles on the same page are awesome too.
There you will also get various racetracks for these vehicles.
For the mods on THRacing you need AC including all DLC's, because a few files are needed for the mod that only have the DLC's.
