2. In CM, save your CM profile (video, controls, etc), and then also save your CSP profile. When you save them in the bottom right, a window opens up with the location of the files, you can just copy them from that window and paste them on your desktop, and then re-apply them again on the new PC.
3. Save your mods on a USB and transfer them over. Either you can save the actual mods if you have the zip folder, or just copy your assettocorsa/content folder which will have all your cars, tracks, etc
4. Lastly if you want you can make a back up of all your PPfilters. I don't remember the location but I can find it for you
one important thing to remember is when you install AC on the new PC, before you do anything, start a vanilla race session from Steam, confirm the game runs fine. Then quit and move on to installing CM, copying content folder back over, applying your old CM profiles, etc. Always run a base game first.
thx so much this is exactly what i was looking for
Also copied the Documents folder, but when I start AC, my career progress is back to 0%
(I don't have any mods) What am I missing?
I've been playing AC for around 2 years and have never touched the career mode. I really have no idea how to transfer that over or if it's even possible. I assumed it would be copied over from the data saved in documents
