content manager with csp and gamepadfx scripts will make it feel like CAR X DRIFT RACING or GRAN TURISMO
try looking up gamepadfx on yt
what is csp and how does it affect my gameplay?
Custom shaders patch. It adds an ocean of extra options and graphical improvements to AC.
Install content manager launch first, then you can install CSP from within CM

Then add this preset, make it active and use the settings from this page (except use a dead zone of 2-5% instead of 35% which has to be a mistake..):

Should be a good starting point. From here you can modify the steering gamma, filtering or whatever you like if needed. For me this setup works well enough - it's still differs a bit from Gran Turismo 7 for example but I don't really mind.
