content manager (race cancelled when trying to join servers)

when trying to join a server in content manager i get this error (race cancelled) , it loads into the loading screen for about 3 seconds then gives error (race cancelled) if anyone has a possible fix for this it would be much appreciated.

Try restarting your Steam client. I experienced something similar the other day and seemed that my Steam account wasn't logged in or something and restarting the client solved it.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe the servers you're joining are using mods you don't have installed, something to double-check?

it could be that someone else just took the car you was trying to load in with and no slots free, so race cancelled message pops up

okay i will get my friend to try this as it his him with the problem not me cheers for the help
