I also use the Piko4 for AC and Elite Dangerous.
I'm assuming you've already set up the Piko. So you assigned your WLAN.
Select video settings in the content manager under Assetto corsa and select open VR as the display mode under resolution and fps. I recommend 1920x1080 as the resolution.
Click Limit frame rate and set the slider to 73.
Now, under View and user interface, check Fix on-board camera to horizon or not.
That's a matter of taste.
Save as a template if you want to gamble without glasses.
Quit content manager. Important.
Now start the pico program and choose the type of transmission.
I always choose the USB variant. Better transmission.
Put on the glasses and select connect..Wait until they connect.
Set glasses resolution to HD and choose 72.
Then you can take off the glasses again, but you cannot exit the program.
Now start the Content Manager, choose Car and Track and click Go at the bottom right.
Put on your glasses and wait a moment.
It can also take longer. Depending on whether you are doing a test drive or a race.
Schwuppdiwupp You're sitting in the cockpit. On the left is the side menu.
This is how it works for me.
The other setting options, if there should be any dropouts, are very extensive
So change only one option at a time.
There are some very good videos on Youtube on how to get the last out of the VR glasses in connection with AC without sacrificing eye candy.
Have fun.
From time to time I stand at the race track with F7 as a marshal and just watch.
I have 71.5 fps with my settings and a driver field of max. AI 39 vehicles in LeMans on FullHD in the rain at night, all details on maximum, smoke on medium, reflections
on 512 at 1400m and mirrors on 128x512 with ticks on high quality. No dropouts.
But normally I drive a maximum of 25 AI vehicles
Or I'm the team boss and sit at the pit wall.
I have not touch AC in a long while so i did not know about the content manager so thanks again for the info.
Works perfectly.
