Mods and DLC

So im new to pc and i read some where that i will need most of the DLC to run alot of the popular mods for assetto corsa like the japan highway mods and such. can anyone confirm this as i dont want to spend almost £50 on dlc if this isnt true.

It is best practise to buy the Ultimate Edition of AC because it includes all DLC that some mods are based off yes and if you do not own the DLC, the mod will not work.

Wait a few days for Steam Winter Sale as AC UE can be as much as 90% off.

Ok thank you ill keep an eye out for the sale. A friend already gifted me the base game so i guess ill just buy all the DLC when i goes on sale again.

If you have the base game, you will need to remove the base game from your library first, then you can purchase the Ultimate Edition and add it.

oh so i can't just buy the dlc separately?

You can buy all the DLC separatley yes but its cheaper to buy the Ultimate Edtion which is base game and all DLC than it is to buy all the DLC even on sale if you have the base game- yeah Its frankly a bit stupid.

Some modes uses dlc contents maybe you need them

It's so unbelievably confusing - AC or AC ultimate or AC competitione... I just want to down load a street track with traffic and go for a drive.... How hard can this be?

How much was the ultimate edition when it was on sale?

If you already have ac in yer library like me just grab content manager.. there's still a mountain of modded content that works with our the dlc
