Opinion about "Black Cat County"
I was looking forward to this track and were strongly dissapointed. First thing I noticed were those GIGANTIC curve signs. Please make them smaller! Form me it realy breaks the immersion. It immediatly felt like driving toycars. Secondly, the layout isn't realy demanding and feels synthetic. I have the impression the terrain was biuld under the road and not the road on the ground. Also the ever ongoing roadtexture is dissapointing, esspecialy on intersections. This all makes it apper like a moderate mod. I hoped for some mountain roads with highway-sections, like PCars california highway as circuit with a bit Route 66 feeling.
On top of this, the AI is awful at driving clean lines despite the evenly curves. Some more irregularities (like the short damaged road) in the route would it make way more interesting.
Is there any chance, this track will be ajusted or altered in the future?

I love the new track especially the short version!

like it too. a night-version would be killer :)

I enjoy driving it. Of course it's not as well done as the PCars tracks, but those were big projects that evolved massively over years of development.. This track is clearly fast free content, does the job well for that.

I like it, it's something a little different and it's good fun.

For me, free content isn't an excuse for less quality. Although Kunos is a small team, they are professionals. They should do better than this, if you compare it to their other tracks. If you an good Level/Environmentartist this is the work of two days. So you have 3 days left, to think about the layout. Give it another week for setting up an make it work. 2 weeks left for bugfixing and Polishing. One month of production is the minimum for that, I would say. If the money was the problem they should thing of their priorities. Quality before quantity!
Honestly, I wouldn't put this track in my portfolio if I had build it.

I disagree though, just because it's not the same quality as something that took years of development it doesn't mean it's not good quality. I had a blast driving around that track, it serves its purpose as a proof of concept pretty well.

Like I said, as someone who was in early access for Project Cars from day 1 (still getting paid for my investment too), those tracks were developed and changed over a number of years to reach that point, especially visually...

A lot of people like these new tracks in AC and so I think it is a success. Can they improve it, add some more flavour? Sure, but I also think as a driving experience that they are really fun, really enjoyable, a worthwhile addition.

My opinion: I don't want fictional tracks, here or in Project Cars I ignore them, I want they focus in real world tracks.

I like it but wish there would be longer straight that we could max out the speed of most cars as that is currently lacking.

I feel this track is a nice extra if you want to push your car a bit and get a feeling for the behavior when you hit the limit.
I can`t understand your problem with it at all tbh. The track feels nice, has some interesting bumps and gabs and is for FREE. That IS an argument. Maybe you noticed the road barriers here and there. I would not be surprised if this track gets extended with the time. And even if not, IT`S FREE :steamhappy: and a solid build.
I really enjoy it even if it is totally different to most racetracks in the game.
Makes me curious what could be possible in the future..
A Pikes Peak would be nice as well^^ and when you are on it add some loose ground:steamsalty:

Overall it's a good track but yeah the gigantic race signs and some parts of the track feel lacking in terms of realism.

Great track dont know what youre complaining about?
For me only the lenght is the shortcoming, I was hoping for 20km at the least..
