Cannot Join Any Multiplayer Servers

Hi All,

I have searched the net, to no avail.
I cannot join any multiplayer servers.
I can see them in the server list, I click join, it goes to the loading screen, and then just jumps back to the server list.

I have all required ports opened etc...and play many other games online.
Can also not join a LAN hosted server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the multiplayer is the only reason I bought this game.

have you checked you resolution settings in game?

I have checked, they are the same as on other games. Also, I can play single player just fine.
It is only with multiplayer sessions that this happens...

When you go to join and the screen changes to loading before you get kicked back, read the bottom it will tell you the error, ie missing content, no slots available, etc etc.

You must either chose a car to join or select booking to join a server. If any of the server cars are listed in red, you don't have that content and cannot join that server without it.

Hi Mr Crisp,

I have checked, there are no error messages displayed.
I have all DLC packs, no mods. I understand the slots etc...so don't think that is the issue.

I am going to try and install on different PC later and will report back.

Any luck with your problem? Sounds word for word what has been happening for me the last couple of days. Had no problems previously and I cant think what Ive changed that would make this happen. Will go and check my res settings as suggested though, cheers.

I have the same problem right now, the game was working fine yesterday. I didn't changed anything in AC nor in firewall or else so this is weird.
No matter any servers I try to join it brings me back to lobby without any explanation at the bottom of the screen. The Enter Password is blinking but none of the servers are working and I don't have the "show server with passwords" checked.

Update: Fixed it! In case some other people run into this problem, check your in-game resolution. Mine was changed to an incompatible one so I was unable to join any servers (that goes for offline loading as well). Only in offline mode does the game gives a clue about checking the graphic settings. Hope this helps someone.

My guess is that my video driver panel might have changed the resolution somehow.

Could be your firewall, blocking your game to access the internet.
Had this problem,. when i first tried to play online.
Just set AC on the whitelist of your firewall and everything should be fine. :)

i would advise you to... find your steam games (before they were just in "library" but these amazing great high paid steam people changed it to another place that makes no sense) Anyways, go into the "local files" somewhere in there, and click on "verify files".
That might fix the issue for you. Sounds like you have corrupted files.
