Thanks! But there you can only change int und external sound from bonnet and bumper, not from inside view.

I just figured this out. I wasn't able to find anything on Google, so I gave this a shot and it worked! It was very easy, so I'm surprised it's not out there... Well, it will be now!

1. go to assettocorsa\content\cars\*desired car*\sfx
2. make backup of GUIDs.txt and rename it
3. open GUIDs.txt
4. look for {x} event:/cars/*desired car*/engine_int
5. look for {y} event:/cars/*desired car*engine_ext
6. replace {x} with {y}

The two lines will now look like this:
{y} event:/cars/*desired car*engine_ext
{y} event:/cars/*desired car*/engine_int

where y is a long jumble of numbers and letters.

Can you help with this?
assettocorsa\content\cars\ks_porsche_911_carrera_rsr\sfx

The Directory only contains: ks_porsche_911_carrera_rsr.bank

Only 3 years late but the reason is that the ks porsche is an official car, they don't have any customizability. Any modifications will have to be done from scratch which really sucks, modded cars most of the time will have a data folder and GUID txt file.

if you have Content managet, you can do it from there directly without messing any of the files. There is a setting that you can use everywhere internal or external sounds

does this till work - the content manager features does not seem to work?
It should work, but not with the official Kunos-made cars. Their sound is locked away in a .bank file used by FMOD Studio.

As for modded cars, as long as the GUIDs.txt exists in its SFX folder, you're good to go.
