Manual BMW M4?
Is there a way to get a manual BMW M4 in Assetto Corsa? Either through mods or even some .ini tweaks

What? It is manual, manual paddle shifters. If you mean is there a mod or way of making it a manual H-shifter, then no, you cannot.

The version in AC is the paddle shifter version.
In theory you can. It would take some time and i'm not sure if it would work and i don't think you're allowed to do it.

But i guess it would require you to "extract" the original game file in order to edit the ini files and then maybe recompile them to look like the original file? But probably won't work in multiplayer wich is the point of having original cars locked, so that people can't just edit them and join official servers with a car that has 800hp instead of 300 ;)

I've edited modded cars to use H shifter, you just have to change it in the drivetrain.ini in the data folder fo the car.

SUPPORTS_SHIFTER=1 ; 1=Car supports shifter, 0=car supports only paddles
For me it does not work to just change the supports_shifter value from 0 to 1. Why??? It still uses paddles just like before and no way to shift with the H shifter
OK, I finally found out - I had to delete the data.acd file (or rename it), then it takes the values from the modified files.
