ACC Content Manager program issue - Please help
I installed the full version of AssettoCorsaClub's Content Manager and added some of the tracks they provide. All the new/added tracks show up in the CM "Tracks" list with error signs next to them and are not available to drive (no error text next to the word "Error:" when one of these tracks is selected. I placed the files in the \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks folder as indicated in the all but missing instructions for the app.

I'd attach an image of the CM "Tracks" screen if I knew how to add images to posts here...

When I launch Assetto Corsa the program (either from CM or from the desktop or Steam), none of the added tracks even show up in its list.

What am I missing/doing wrong?
ACClub seems to get legit reviews... I can't imagine I just threw away my money donating to their cause to unlock the full version of CM.

Any/all help greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
C

wat?

Ask them about problems in their content.

And never pay for mods. Donate, perhaps, but only after seeing the content is worth it and working correctly (and original instead of ripped off somewhere).

$ I spent was a donation. Based on others feedback online and a check of the fraud listing sites, it all looked legit. I guess I learned a lesson for $2.99.

Drag and drop the mods into the content manager. '-.-

'Program Files' is where you went wrong. You need to go to C drive (main drive) (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks

The format of the forum appears to have split the line - the files are on the main drive (where the software is installed) are in:
...Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks

I attempted the drag & drop and got the same results.
I sent an email to support and got a response that says "this is what your folder should look like" with a screen print that matches pretty much what I have. But in the CM app, the tracks all show up with exclamation points next to them and in AC, they don't show up at all.

Hmmmm Frustrated...

NEVER EVER drag mods in the CM to install them, very often it messes up totally. You have to do it manually. So, extract the mod and put the files in their respective folder. Some tracks might have more files than the main one going to "tracks" like extension folder or some more. You have to put each respective folder to the correct position. From all the tracks I have all these years, only Lake Louise stays with a red flag and you cant solve it. The same is for cars mods. Also, some mode are zipped in a double folder, example you extract Lake Louise in a folder and inside this, there is another Lake Louise which is the one you have to copy. If you copy it directly with the double folder, then it will not show up or shop up with problem. I hope you get it.

ALWAYS works for me... But if you want to do it manual it's fine by me, I'll be dragging and dropping.

@ OP
first go to your \AppData\Local\ and rename the "AcTools Content Manager" folder to i.e "AcTools Content Manager OLD"
then open CM -> settings-> custom shader patch (CSP)
in "about and updates" -> uncheck auto updates -> delete patch
form "available versions" select the most recent recommented version (in my lite CM this is 0.1.60) and install it
see if the tracks now working
if not, return to CSP settings and go to "tracks config"
on the top right corner click the three dots and make sure "install automatically" is checked
try again if the tracks working now.
if yes, you can go back and install the latest (untested) CSP version and see if working.

ALWAYS works for me... But if you want to do it manual it's fine by me, I'll be dragging and dropping.
for me too
except SOL off course
