i have one connected to my pedals and the game didnt recognise it as well, so at the top left lest i chose one of fanatec's preset wheel setups and it started to recognize it.

so give it a try and chose fanatec mbw prest and maybe it will work.

I have this handbrake with the USB adapter, it didn't work until I installed the updated drivers from their website. Hope this helps.

I have mine plugged to my pedal set (v3), and it's recognized by the game. But I have to say that it's always bugging, this is a crappy handbrake, and I regret my bying every day I'm using it.
Not a problem with AC, it's the same in Dirt Rally. Keep away from fanatec products, so many problems with this brand !

i tohgut it my handbrake was bugging at first but i noticed that if you attach it to any metal serface it tends to bug and glitch to slove this issue i used a thin peace of cardboard from some underware cloths to isolate the handbrake from the rest of my metal reg and it never buged on me again .

so most of fanatec gear is metal which is cool but it need isolation from the rest of the reg:steamhappy:.

Whoooaaaa really? im sat here with the fanatec website open and seriously considering buying the clubsport v3 pedals and handbrake (T3PA pro pedals have just died after only 1 years use grrrr) but i also have a metal rig and reading your post just stopped me dead in my tracks from buying.

erm.... can you expand on this subject at all. is that all fanatec equipment or just the handbrake? is it possible you got a faulty one and its just yours? im a bit apprehensive to drop 500 on a new toy if im gonna have to pee about with 'bits of cardboard' to make it work.

My clubsport v3 pedals are mounted on metal, my clubsport shifter is mounted on metal, my clubsport v3 wheel base is moutned on metal, and they all work flawlessly.

Haleakala - Did you even bother to contact fanatec? They are extremely easy to work with once you own their products.

Thank you Art. Proceeding to checkout now.

Just a quick one, did you bother with the air dampner kit for your brake pedal?

Hands down it's amazing for the brake, for the gas testing out different springs might help a lot and be a much cheaper route, I never tried.

I have't tried any other games, but the vibrations in the brake and gas seem useless.

yeah ive been tring to think how one on the throttle being at all usefull, you just dont get any sort of feed back from a real throttle or at least any sort of useable feed back, but maybe the one on the brake gives a judder when the ABS is doing its thing?

Either way those busy little germans are getting on with my order right now so il find out for myself soon enough, now im just praying the porsche pack doesnt arrive before my pedals.

it only happens with me with the handbralke and only becuse i mounted it to the shifter like this guy did in his vedio
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd6wIU7QkAg

and that maybe cused the shifter to get static so i used the thin cardboard btween the shifter and the handbrake and it worked!! other than that all my other fanatec gear is on metal and i have no problems with it at all.

so if your planing on getting any fanatec gear dont let this issue stop you there gear is tight.
