change to damper_gain 0.
and what the setting above does is increase the frequency of the ffb. ff_skip_steps to 0 gives 333hz. But it puts more work on the cpu, so don't change if cpu isn't good enough.
for logitech software have damper off, centering spring off and 0%. And 900º steering.
In AC you need to load your wheel's preset. I have a G27 and that's what I do and works. Later you can experiment with turning off ffb effects.
Other recomendation would be to load a track and a car in practice/hotlap mode, then try with another car to see how it feels.
These settings might be in your logitech gaming software - settings. Or you need to select the game profile and then turn off the spring force. If you installed the software from a CD then it could be outdated, take it from here http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g920-driving-force
Cos if its that oscillating thing then thats just logitech, dont let go of the wheel.
