Heres a link, just make sure you correctly set 32 or 64 bit depending on your OS.
http://support.logitech.com/en_gb/software/lgs
once that has installed, reboot your pc then go into the software and see if its reading your wheel correctly. Or click windows start menu (bottom left) then settings, Devices, connected devices and you should see your logitech wheel correctly listed, once you got that then you know windows is seeing your wheel correctly and now its down to the game.
The game should list your wheel in the controls option ingame but i have known a couple of people have had to manually assign each input (steering, throttle, brake, clutch and then each gear individually).
If thats all as clear as mud then feel free to add me and i can go though each step with you mate.
If it shows up as df-gt, then device-manager- -> df-gt -> driver-properties -> chose different driver -> chose the generic choice named usb HID input device, disconnect wheel upon success, update/replace your logitech software (if applicable), reboot PC, have it recognised, again.
This sounds a bit like your wheel isn't getting powered, make sure it's plugged in properly.
And you havent tried to set an assetto corsa profile in the LGS? I seem to remember the default one works as is.
It has power. I just cant put in any inputs.
It needs to be in ps4 mode (which it is). And thats another thing, the G29 doesn't pop up in the menus so I can't even access the profile settings.
what does your device-manager tell you when you plug-in or unplug the wheel?
Edit: sorry going to sleep now, EU but i'll be glad to help tomorow ;) Add me on steam in worst case we'll figure something out.
Im running Windows 10. They just released an update for it and I believe that could be the cause. The only issue is that I don't have a restore point for before the update. I was looking around on the logitech forums and some other people have been having issues but not with there wheels.
Regards
Another thing that happened to me is that if i used my wheel in USB3 port then it would kinda disconnect/ stop respond for 2 or 3 seconds, and it happened every 2 or 3 minuts. So use a usb 2.0 port.
Here's a picture of my profile. http://oi66.tinypic.com/2ywwqwm.jpg
Hope it helps
Thanks, Cunning but the problem is that my G29 isn't being recognized. I can access the controller config in game but I can't use the wheel, gas, brake, or clutch. Another thing to note is that the force feedback is on so it is heavy whenever it is plugged in.
Ok, let me note that I cannot see my G29 in the logitech game software. The wheel itself does not appear in the menus at all. It's like it just doesn't want to recognize the wheel at all.
