Just tried Lamborghini Aventador SV. Verdict: The poor man's hypercar.

It feels clumsy overall with poor acceleration and weak brakes to the point of being dangerous when pushed on the track. It looks fancy though.

It simply cannot compete against Pagani Huarya, LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and its sibling Gallardo SL Stage 3, all of which are considered its contemporaries in Assetto Corsa. Perhaps it's more of a cruiser than a thorough race breed.

What do you think?!

Having actually driven real Lamborghinis, I can tell you they are incredibly boring around town and take A LOT of prodding before they become exciting at speed. This is true for modern Lamborghinis. I haven't driven anything older than a Diablo SV. I haven't driven the Aventador yet, or the Huracan for that matter (makes me sad), but everything I have been told is that it is a return to form, a fantastic, new age, modern supercar, with the soul of an old school supercar. It is a visual and aural koleidascope with pig iron guts. Magnificent on track and actually engaging on the street. It is a departure from its peers, as Lambos have always been, but it was never an attempt to compete on track with hypercars.
In a Sim setting, you can't even hope to get any of that without a wheel and pedals. And really, I am sorry, you opinion on how the Aventador drives and compares to other game content is just not fully formed because you are only experiencing it with a keyboard. Spend a couple of days' worth of lunch money on a 360 controller, at least, and you will unlock a lot more of what AC wishes for you to have. Then, when you have the money, get the wheel and shifter and all that. You whole soul will thank you. Then, when you have the money, put together a dedicated track car. ( It doesn't have to be fancy. A Westfield kit based on a used NA or NB Miata is wonderful and very cheap to build and maintain. )

Cut the ♥♥♥♥ why don't you tell us your impression of the Aventador in game with a wheel. What a genius.

I think the Aventador drives great in game. It is a fantastic road car with race car performance in every catagorie except for brakes and tires. Well, it is also a bit heavy, but the SV is lighter and more nimble than the standard Aventador.

Doesn't matter. I just wanted players' impressions. If they are going to vary so bet it. In everything there will be similarities and differences EVEN played with the same wheel.

It just seems to me,the car´s suspension is just to soft. It is hanging like crazy especially at high speeds. More so than ´lesser´ exotics

This thread ISN'T about my opinion it is about gathering players' impressions on the Aventador SV no matter what controllers they use. It never was.

At the end of the day it's about gathering IN-GAME impression of a car. It's IRRELEVANT what controller one uses as we are judging the car IN GAME and not the actual car.

If people playing with wheels contribute I'm sure their impressions don't fall far from what I stated. DK for one hold to his view that the brakes are on the weak side just as I do.

So, essentially you're making an issue out of NOTHING.

They are not interested in contributing anything to the thread. They just wanted to dish out insults. It's as simple as that. Not once did they post their own impressions (except for DK).

Turn off traction control, the Aventador is `more fun`- but you can't with keyboard because you always have some `software` TC because of digial keys, so you can't experience this.

You think the Aventador is bad, have you tried the Audi R8 roadcar? Its even worse, it shares a similar drivetrain (or the same) as the Lambo- but because its a much cheaper car, its horrible to drive, well I think it is.
