For those of you who haven't found it yet, there's an app for AC that essentially turns the game into Iracing!!!
So if you like Iracing but can't afford it, I strongly recommend Sim Racing System!!!

It offers a way to play the game online with complete incident points, user ratings, championship points, etc... So hopefully there will be less careless drivers.
Rfactor2 will also be supported(according to the site) at some point.

Is this app actually any good now? I had it about 4 months ago but there was only ever 2 or maybe 3 ppl in a race (at peak times, the rest of the time the servers were empty all day) and it was never a race that were 'fun cars', it seemed to me the races were geared more towards the GT3/massive amounts of traction control fkwits amongst us.

And I seem to remember the auto join race feature didnt work as intended either.

Would be nice to hear things have changed though? Unfortunately Im too lazy to remember my login details so cant see the 'daily schedule' for the races on the server. Might encourage a few more ppl to sign up if you posted what cars and tracks are lined up on the server for the day.

At the moment there's Zonda R@ Spa every 2 hours, Audi S1@ Vallelunga every 30 min, Ferrari 458@ Mugello every 2 hours, KTM XBow 1on1 every 10 min and Formula Lotus@Monza every 2 hours.
There are very few people online which is why I posted this. This is a working system, we just need to get more people using it...

It's shame there isn't much people, mostly too late in night but I found some great races today so weekends are possible, what I can see there were like 5-12 people per race. I must say those were the best online races I've ever had in Assetto Corsa. Note I spent over 500 hours in single player mostly hot laping enjoying driving. But now I can see Assetto Corsa needs system for online races. Sim Racing System is good way to go but official way would be optimal.

I was refused an account at Sim Racing Systems because I wanted to use my Steam name..... which is also my Assetto Corsa name. What a dumb idea that people can only join if they display their real name.

Actually, while I like the SRS system, and I am cool with my real name, for me, ist just hopping in, hoping of 7 more racers (which seems impossible at times) race, leave. No community.
Well, if you are okay with that, fine, GL racing, I for one look for some Minorated servers which are a bit more populated and where I don't have this bam bam go feeling.
As said, SRS is FAR from being bad! Just not for me, I guess.
Then again, that's just me :)

It's a great system. Nothing fancy, but I went in the DTM race today and with 75 guys we split into 4 different tiers. Racing was excellent. Wish more people would join in.

One warning though, when you get the email where you confirm your registration, it can take a very random amount of time for it to allow you to actually race (a couple hours, maybe even a day) because they are a small team. Lots of fun, and if you don't have the content, they link you to the download (unless it is paid content of course)
