Single player traffic

What is the best way to make traffic work properly to date? And how do you go about doing this in all the main free roam tracks?

Don't quote me on this but I believe that you can run 'track day' on any track in the game and have AI traffic driving in the same direction as you, similar to how a track day would be irl. But if you want two-way AI traffic then I think that will only work on certain maps that have been pre-configured for two way traffic, ie; Shutoko, LA Canyons, PCH, etc, in which case you download their 'traffic track' which adds a separate traffic track in the list, which will have traffic in both directions.

So short answer, I don't think you can have 2 way AI traffic for every track unless it's designed for 2way

I recommend checking out traffic AI layouts created by alekabul over at racedepartment. Hes created a few resources for different maps for personal use in offline/single player mode.
