have you installed any audio mods?

Try verifying game files through steam and maybe a quick reinstallation of CSP, both will only take a couple minutes.

yeah I did verify games files and no, I only have car and track mods.

Many mods require the corresponding DLC pack in AC because they share certain things like sounds and textures, so if you don't have the corresponding DLC, the mod won't work and you'll get errors.

Which mod car are you trying to load when you get that error?

I have every dlc. I'm trying to load Lamborghini Huracan Performante which is not even a mod. And the map is again, not a mod. I realized that I had an old version of custom shaders patch so I downloaded the newest version but this time I got this error:

Ok, I would try disabling CSP in CM settings and then see if you can run the base game with no CSP, no SOL, no mods, nothing.

If you can start a game with the Huracan, then install CSP 1.78 again fresh, then I would activate any extra mods you have like FFBclip, Helicorsa, etc, one by one until you find the culprit. But first thing is to try and run the base game with no extras and take it from there.

Let me say this, I can run the game without a problem if I disable "General Patch Settings" but that will end up with cutting my access to some car mods that requires CSP. Nothing happens when I disable General Patch Settings. But right when I enable it, I always get a crash. No matter which car I use, which track I play on. It's all about the fact that I wanna play the game with some of the feature from CSP(like 24 Hours weather, some basic effects etc.). But seems like it's not really possible. Also I should mention, the fact that my gpu died a while ago, I play the game without a gpu which I play on really low settings. Maybe that's making CSP incompatible with my PC?

Hmm it's possible. So if there's no GPU in your system, that might be the cause. CSP has tons of new settings so maybe something that is GPU dependant is causing the crash. Try turning off any CSP settings associated with GPU like the AMD sharpening, Nvidia HBAO/SMAA stuff, etc.

At least the good news is the game still runs fine without CSP.

Great news always nice to find the cause of a problem. I could live without weatherFX since I mostly race online anyway where it's always sunny

Hey, a year and a half later, is this still working for you? Cause deactivating weather fx didn't make a diff for me. In fact I deactivated every single one in the list except for csp and still get the crash. The only way it doesn't crash is if I'm running 1.73 - which means no Sol, Pure, some cars, etc. This is so frustrating. I even tried on 3 PCs, two running Nvidia and one on AMD - same result.

So yeah, wonder if you found a solution?

I got a GPU now my man, I can run with weather fx without crashing and everything works normal Thankfully. I time to time get loading bug where it freezes in loading screen and I manually fix it n' stuff but it's irrelevant to your issue. I'm afraid I can't help here.

Good to hear you got this resolved. Wonder if the issue is due to my older GPUs. One is a gtx1070, RX580 of the same era. Wonder if a newer gpu would solve the issue. Which gpu did you get?

I actually got gt 1030 :D. I'm pretty confused how this problem works.
