GPL 2.0 Crashes

For some reason while loading a race with the GPL cars including the lotus 33, the screen turns black for a second and returns to the race screen. Loading a race with the lotus 33 not included proves successful, so there must be something wong with the lotus 33

Any Fixes/solutions?

I take it you have loaded the KN 5 files for the lotus 49 & Ferrari 312/67 as per the pdf with the mod, otherwise they will not load.(Although it seems you can load except for the Lotus 33?)
P.S a new 2.15 version of this mod is out if you care to search...goodluck!
I suppose verifying the game through steam would not hurt..worth a try.

Well ive Downloaded the new version and done a steam integrity check and the lotus 33 still decides to crash the loading process.

Any more solutions?

I have only run it through Content manager Lite ( which is great may I add) ,thats the way I always run the game,both versions worked ok for me.
Sorry to hear you cant get the mod to work fully........however if all else fails (including your patience) you can still enjoy the mod minus the lotus 33....the other cars are worth it....if I had to do without some cars in this mod the Lotus 33 and Matra are the poorest performing cars in the pack....but I understand your frustration at missing this one car! Hope someone else can help you.

Thanks for your help mate, I guess i can do without the lotus 33. maybe updating my graphics driver will help.

I am having the exact same issue.
all cars work except the lotus 33
I have re downloaded and re installed the mod, the cars, everything 10 times.
I even tried changing multiple graphics settings etc
for some reason the lotus 33 will not load!

yes, get a collider.kn5 file from another car in the car pack and replace the one in the lotus 33 file. then don't ever use the lotus 33

Thanks! Replaced the existing lotus 33 collider.kn5 file with the one from the lotus 49 and it now all works. I really like the lotus 33 and will use it. Thanks again.

Read the instructions. There are actually TWO cars you have to copy original kunos files over to.

Lotus and Ferrari.

NOTE ON INSTALLATION OF THE LOTUS 49: You need the original kunos Lotus 49 install file:
1. Extract folders content and texture to your AC install: ...\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\
2. Goto …\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\lotus_49
3. In this folder: Copy the lotus_49.kn5 file
4. Within \cars folder, goto \ gpl67_lotus_49
5. Paste lotus_49.kn5 here!
NOTE ON INSTALLATION OF THE Ferrari 312:
You need the Ferrari DLC pack from steam:

Ferrari 312 install file:

yes, me and everyone else did that for the ferrari and lotus 49.. the issue is with the lotus 33
